Check out the attached pic. It looks like there are good spots for cutting that whole piece out on each side of it where the visor brackets mount. Is this a piece that I should get from a donor car? Reason I think that is because it looks like it's shaped and molded for the rv mirror mount, although I don't really know for sure since most of the original metal is gone... Would anyone really cut one out and send it to me or should I look for a local metal shop to just fab something up? I don't have the tools or know-how to do that myself unfortunately.
Brian I would post and ask someone who has a parts car you can get the metal out of. I have fixed one similar to this but it wasn't such a long strech.. It would be much easier to get this piece from a donor car...Randy
