Can't get shift linkage seal to stop leaking

sounds like the shaft may be scored...... a new seal wont fix that.

i'm not a tranny guy but i'm wondering if you dropped the valve body could you replace the selector shaft?

 

you wont have to drop the valve body. its been a couple months since i built a th350 but if im not mistaken its a bolt on the roller detent and a nut on the shaft that you will have to take off. easy
