This found me a few weeks ago from London, Ontario area: 21,800 original miles, sold new at Ray Tuffin Pontiac Buick in Strathroy, Ontario. Original key fob, bill of sale and protecto plate. I was told it had a paint job about 20 years ago, not sure why? Took a week but the paint buffed out nicely, Never been hit, all original sheet metal, obviously no rust anywhere and Original everywhere else, including spare in trunk. Bench seat, am radio, that’s about it, 350-2 runs like a top, going to be looking for build sheet next. I had to take off the skinny 14 steel wheels although it had really cool hubcaps the wife said it looked like an old mans car. Lol
That's a nice looking Canuick! I have a liking for the 68-69 sweepspear styling, and have a white one (68) from "up there".
These cars were never on my radar until my buddy in Phoenix came by with one last year, it looked good from all 4 views. My granddaughter is one and this will be hers when she turns 16...if she’s good to grandpa and helps me take care of it.
Great looking car! I love the color. Most "survivors" seem to be green, and this one isn't. UticaGeoff
I will post a picture of the cowl tag, and the build sheet once I find it. Appears to be its original red exterior with parchment bench seat interior. the trim on the back of the roof got me thinking it may have had a vinyl top, but I don't think it did and a previous owner said it never. I was really lucky to find it although it's a long story the car kinda found me.
I found proof this was a little old lady car, the gas pedal has 3 holes drilled in it.....for a block of wood I would guess
Bryan Woodworth has a super clean little old lady owned ‘68 that came with a lot of original documentation verifying an older purchaser. I’m guessing she was also short; she ordered column shift but power buckets (moves her seat easily and her passenger wouldn’t be sitting up against the dash) and power windows (since she couldn’t reach any window but her own). No screw holes in the accelerator pedal, though. Patrick
