    Wow, that is something you don't see every day. You got me! Does the drip rail molding go over those and the vinyl top?

    It eliminates the drip rail moldings These came off one of the post cars I had. I had 2 sets at one time and now only have these.. I am thinking I'm going to paint my drag cars roof to match the lower and delete the drip rail moldings altogether.

    I don't think I've ever seen a car without drip rail moldings. So these came on a post car with no drip rail moldings from the factory?

    Yes....The drip rail was painted and these 2 metal clips were installed. Another oddity was there was a metal plate on the firewall to cover the A/C hole up. It wasn't a homemade piece either. The car was a 250 inline 6 no PS/manual drum brakes and radio delete. It had a rubber floor mat inside on the floor instead of carpet. Boy, I wish I had it yet.. It was Silver Fern color.I also had a blue post car with the same chrome trim delete.

    I actually thought it was a clip to hold the gas line and return lines together or the brake and gas line together.
