Hey folks, I have a 65 skylark that was radio delete, great ideas on where to put the radio(either where it belongs, or hidden) But there was never a hole drilled for the antenna. Can one be hidden, or am I way to anal about keeping this thing as stock as I found it?

You can hide it, but conventional antennea's stuck like in the fender will not get as good reception.

Creativley, If you are going to drop the headliner any time soon... You can get the antenna off of an 90's Pontiac Transport... that had a antenna that was like anuminum foil that just sat up there. You could probably get that to squeeze above the headliner Bows.

I'm sure there are other options as well.

You can put it anywhere you want, reception quality will be different depending on where you put it but off the top of my head. Under the hood, in the trunk, along one of the frame rails, if you get one of those small ones, you could squeeze it up under the dash.

Call up an auto glass place and ask if they have a windsheild for your car with a windsheild antenna. You may get a surprise, and the worst they can say is "no"

Also, I don't know what the difference is but Autoloc sells hidden antennas. I'm thinking about getting one for mine
