Long story short, my tubular control arms are delayed, i want to get on with and install my 470 with stage 2 TA heads, 2 inch primaries….so the question is…can the upper control arms be changed with this engine combo installed? I would have to temporarily reinstall the stock arms to install the engine. The lower steering shaft will be out of the way.
You can push out the mounting bolts for clearance. When you reinstall them make sure to line up the knurls. I would mark them so they go back in as originally installed.
