Can someone help me???????

    I finally took the motor out of the 69 lark I am parting out. I was told that it had a 400 trans in it. I don't know if it is or not. And how would I be able to tell for sure????? It says HYDROMATIC on the pan. Here is a pic of the trans.
    Any info would be much appreciated......

    I think I have a pic of the shape of the 350 vs 400 pans...

    The trick I always used was if the pan looks like Illinois then its a turbo 400
