After checking the rim date code with Duanes book, I have a few questions that maybe someone can answer.
First, according to the book, this rim rim was cast in 1967? As evidenced by the 7 below the plant code of M4, is that correct?
Did Buick make a 15×7 rim as an option in 1967?
It was cast in February on the 23rd?
What is the lone 2 to the left of the M4?
The other portion of the rim shows a 19 and an H, any ideas?
The hub has a 042 and a B, I assume that B matches the B on the rim near the 15×7 stamp?
    I'm just curious, thanks.

That's a '73-'77 model WP code wheel. The 15" wheels of this design first appeared in 1970. Here is a handy little chart that was put together by someone else on this board (probably Duane). Maybe charts that you see are incomplete and fail to include the WM code wheel that was used for the '71-'72 models.

That wheel was assembled on 2/23/77.

As stated above the WP wheels were not made until 1973.

Thank you both. Does the 70 GS have a 4 3/4 pattern? Or a 5inch?

buick made steel wheels in 67 and 68 to clear the 4 piston disc brake, they made 15x7 in chrome in 69 to also clear the brakes,we didnt have books back then, went on 1rst hand knowledge, took alot of them apart back then, alot of ppl think the 4 piston corvette brakes were the same but there not,14 inch wheels didnt clear the disc brakes, thats why they made the 15 by 7 wheels, they were on 69,s early disc wheels head to find, and have s diferent code than the chevs

    As mentioned, the A body wheels are 5 X 4 3/4. The Big car Rallye wheels are 15 X 6" and 5 X 5 bolt pattern..
