First, I wasn't sure what forum to post this so please forgive if I'm in the wrong area.

I was wondering if anyone could give me the $ value of (5) 15X6 Buick Rally wheels. These are the 5 on 4 3/4" for A body cars. Removed from a 1971 Skylark custom but 2 have 7-31-68 written on the inside. ???

These are very nice condition but no center caps. Lug holes are nice.

I may sell outright if I get a good offer but if not, will most likely go on ebay.

P.S. I'm in Pennsylvania if anyone nearby wants to make an offer. ;)

    Thanks,

    Bob

    $100.
If they were 15x7's probably double that.
Not having centers brings the price down considerably.
Since these are now being reproduced most guys are gonna go with new unless you've got a specific date stamp that someone's after.
I'd recommend posting pic's of the stamps along with the wheels to get the best buck.

The 6 inch width hurts. You can get 30-50$ each for 15x7's in good condition on this board.

15x6?? I thought 15x6 rims were on the big car Buicks, with 5 on 5 bolt pattern. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also, the 1968 stamped rims shouldn't be A-body 4 3/4 pattern rims. 68 & 69 GS/Skylark did not have 15" rims available. I'm not 100% sure, but almost...

Pics might help, if you can post any.

Thanks for the replies so far guys. The date is written on with a black marker around the inside portion, not stamped so not sure what's up there. It's only on 2 of them.

Where is this date code stamped at? Is there a wheel code like Chevelle wheels would have?

    Here are some pics:

Stamping is on the outter lip on the inside of the wheel.
Those look like big car road wheels, I've heard that some of the mid-70's had the smaller 5 on 4.75 pattern but the overwhelming majority have 5 on 5" pattern.

Yep, those look like big car rims, instead of A-body. The 5 "spokes" on the big car rims are curved inward, like your pic shows. GS/Skylark rims the spokes are not curved much, if at all.

those look like 71- 76 electra, riviera, wagons, all the big buicks. will probley fit into the 80's rear wheel drives.

You guys are good! Turns out, these are 5 on 5 after all, they measure 3 inches from the center of a lug hole to another. (never use the visual guess method!) I was told they were off a 71 Skylark but looks like that can't be possible then.

All 5 have the hand written date of 7-31-68 on the insides. The only thing I could find stamped on them was this:

    15X6 L made in usa Y
    2 8 E (the E is backwards) then 853

Does that tell anything? Oh yeh, the outside of the center hole measures 2 1/8"

So I guess I have ask again on the value of these.

    Thanks alot,

    Bob

bob, i have a book around here somewhere. if no one gets back to you i'll look it up and let you know exactly what they are. they are not 68 wheels. i can tell that just by looking at your picture.
