I have been shopping for a Skylark, but came across this Wildcat at Volo today. May be what I am looking for, but I will take all the advice I can get. http://volocars.com/1969-buick-wildcat-custom-c-4387.htm#sthash.1Tr4TKTw.dpbs Thanks and I appreciate it. Tony Cuiffo
It's a very pretty car, and you probably would really enjoy it. At that price though, it would really need an up close inspection by someone really well versed in big cars. To me, that's "all the money" and it would need to be very nice low mileage original, not just wax and Armor All on a tired one. Also, I'm curious--shouldn't it have dual exhaust? My 2.3 cents; Patrick
My '70 had single exhaust, dual was an option. Car seems good, just remember that there are very few reproduction parts for these cars aside from the engine and transmission. If the car is as straight as it seems in the pictures it would be a decent car. not sure if I would pay that price, but I'll be spending way more restoring mine for little resale value.
Check your garage length. The Wildcat is 8-9 inches longer than a Skylark. Pretty sure check specs if limited.
