Looks like GM is going to spend $3billion to see if they can save Buick over the next year......... http://biz.yahoo.com/fo/040311/00f5c0a7040c9fb4e6c4092c5ec0c985_1.html Buick has a new elegant rear-wheel-drive convertible prototype called Vlite going to be shown at the New York autoshow in April. The brand which has the proud distinction of having the oldest averaged age of buyers is none other than our blue haired GM division called Buick. :error: ......and what the hell is a Vlite?? uzzled: :error:
I was thinking the other night about the names we give to cars these days. They have cut the nuts off anyone who names a car these days> i.e. Echo :error: Alero :error: Corsica :error: Rendezvous :error: :error: :error: :error: What the hell ever happened to Boss, Wildcat, Challenger, Barracuda, Road Runner, Galaxie, Rebel....I mean, I could go on and on. You can't necessarily bring the names back as we seem to be doing with GTO(not), Marauder (although I think it's a cool car), but these people HAVE to be able to come up with some names with testosterone without having to resurrect the past to do it. Where the hell is the originality? How can Buick be serious when calling a car a Vitale or whatever the hell it is?? :spank:
I must be missing something.....where are Saturn and Chevrolet, Pontiac on the JD Power chart in the article??? Were they off the chart bad?? Bruce
