Between this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-10-4003 and this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/nal-88900330 Manufacturer part numbers match (88900330) but the summit part numbers are different Besides $1 don't see any other difference. Am i missing something? Thanks
I don't see a difference, but I can tell you its the stuff I use in my rear and I ordered the part from your second link in July and it arrived correctly.
I think it's just a re-branding from AC Delco to Chevrolet Performance. I had the same issue when I purchased syncromesh transmission fluid for a TKO600. JEGS had it under AC Delco for $8/qt "while supplies last". The same stuff under Chevrolet Performance brand was $15/qt.
More 2 cents added. Same part. AC/Delco part #10-4003 GM #88900330 Because of new purchasing policies between GMSPO and GM dealers, Dealership parts departments are not allowed to purchase from an AC/Delco wholesalers and installed because of loss of warranty of said part. Dealers MUST purchase parts from GMSPO or other dealers to maintain warranty. Thus the difference. If Summit is a AC/Delco dealer, part #10-4003, would carry a warranty. If purchased from GM (dealer) #88900330 and then resold this would be the difference in price and warranty.
Wow! The knowledge here never ceases to amaze me. I'm not overly concerned about a warranty with a product that's the exact same formula as the non-warranty bottle. So I get to save $1. Which is over 2gal of gas in Houghton Lake, Michigan! http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2016/01/18/gas-price-fell-77-cents-one-michigan-site/78957822/ Thanks for the info guys.
Summit goof. Same thing with power trax active spacer One was power trax and one was richmond when richmond still own the company. 20.00 difference went with the old part number it was cheaper. SAME part different price...LOL. Good luck with your choice....
