Hey guys, I pulled this cruddy resistor from my '68 GS. No one can tell me where to get a replacement. It is for a 3 speed blower on an A/C car. Can anyone tell me who can replace it or rebuild it? Is there another part readily available to substitute for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Merry X-mas and a Happy, Healthy New Year to all! That's called a "Blower Resistor" or "Blower Speed Resistor", I have bought them from local parts stores when I needed them. I may have one here in one of my boxes, I'll check over the weekend if you can't find one locally.
Artie, Thanks for the fast response. I have been to several auto-parts stores and even told OPG what I needed. OPG sent me what looks like a 2-speed/3-prong unit which does not even come close to fitting. Where are you in NJ? I am in NYC. Thanks again, and happy Holidays. Sincerely, Michael
