Estonia? Missed that but thought the landscape "odd" so did a double take on location. Vid much more interesting after that.

Appears you guys baited the other car OR got spanked. Hard to tell ;) Try to avoid the wet streets next time! heh.

The thing I noticed ( other than getting spanked ) is that your lights go red, yellow then green.
It's like they are setting up the christmas tree for drag racing! You are pretty much expected to race from light to light with lights like that!

    :Do No:

    Estonia yep.

Nope, my friend was really trying to win. Those 295's sure like to spin on the wet surface.

Camaro: mild 305, th700r4 and 3.23 open, one person in the car.

Buick: stock 350, th350 and 2.73 open, four people in the car.

plus "my engine got filled with rainwater" and "his tires were 0.001" too big":laugh::laugh:

Yep, so true about the light thing. As far as getting spanked, I need to get a built th700r4 with stall and 3.73 posi.

It's even better in Poland where they have a count down timer next to the traffic lights:

It was more of a question than a statement...hence the "?". I have no personal experience with the 305's and have read that they were just poor performing motors. No need to be a dick about it.

Well, you can always edit your post if you don't "want to be a dick about it" :beers2: !!

    william.ali.kay Needs more cowbell!

    Nows thats funny.
FWIW Ive seen some of those 305s tweeked and when done correctly with the proper heads, they move out pretty well in the smaller/mid size cars.

The only thing Id put one in would be in my trailer, on the way to the scrapyard.

My dad had a 305 in a 69 mustang coupe that redlined at 8 grand and would do 170. He bought the build out of a carcraft magazine. Not all of them are junk
