took apart the timing cover on 455, found gears and chain in good shape and yet have noise when start engine, rattle sound in top of distributor hei, and power is low and cant get to time out at 6-8 degrees, when opened the timing cover the distributor gear shows unequal wear, and the cam gear to dist, is showing wear on fuel pump lobe up and not down sides of the gear, is the distrib, rattling up and down in its casing and making the noise and will this mean I need to replace the cam and lifters as well, was a great engine , over heated and just put on fresh heads and resealed intake, thought chain was falling apart and slapping around but not true, help put put put no go 455 craig
