cam specs

    Does anyone know the stock cam spec out of a 1967 400. Please help me. i need this information because i am doing a rebuild and i need to know so i can order a new cam.

    Also, if anyone knows what a good mild cam would be, semi smooth idle under 1000rpm, and what the specs are it would be appreciated

    I've read on here a few times that the TA212 is a good small cam.

    I currently use a Crane 218 duration w/112 lobe centers. Has about 464 lift. I love this cam for the street in my big block 455
    GSX Stage 1. It has gobs of power from just off idle to around
    5000 rpm. I think any cam with these specs. would work great for you as long as you are not looking to be a drag racer. I have 3.64
    posi. w/ automatic. TA headers. Its a killer street cam to me with
    instant response with my mild 2500 stall converter.
