    NJBuickRacer I'd rather be racing...

Choosing the right cam will be very dependent on the rest of your combo, including vehicle weight, rear gears, trans type and torque converter selection. Post the info, and whether the car will be more for the street or track and maybe we can help you out....

well from what im hearing my car weighs in around 4300 or so which is heavy the tranny i plan on running is a 700-r4 with a 2500 stall, i plan on running 4.11's in the rear. as for the engine its a .060 over 401 which is gonna be running 10.5:1 compression, larger valves from t/a, pocket ported heads, a port matched offy dual quad set up with 600 afb's, t/a roller rockers and t/a shortys going into dual 2 1/2 in pipes with flowmaster super 40's as for the driveline im not exactly sure what im getting yet.. the car is going to be my weekend hellraiser or cruiser to take to shows and sometimes the track to mess around, dont really care if it idles all smooth or any of that or gas mileage for that matter.
