Hey there... I've been working on completing my 455 buildup for a long time now... Meanwhile i'm running my 70' Buick 350.4bbl. I'd like to put a Cam in the engine. Just curious if anyone on board might have one, used is good.. I can't afford much.. I'd really like to leave my valves/springs all that the same for now, so a mild cam is all I'd need... something more than stock, more lope??? I'm sure the cam i got in it now is quite tired... Factory for all I know... So if durring a rebuild, or swap, you might by chance have a mild cam lying around, I'd love to add it to my car.... Thanks everyone...

I have a take-out cam, Lunati/GSCA "Popular Mechanics" grind, with lifters. It has about 5k miles on it. I took it out and replaced it with a slightly smaller grind, Scott Brown's "little" cam.

This cam gave me good service, a little lumpy at idle but manageable. The power band doesn't go much past 5k RPM's with the way the lobes are groung for a "fast ramp". It has a fairly late intake closing event, it works best with some compression. My build was at about 9.0:1, a little low for this cam. If it works for you, I'd be glad to part with it for a nominal fee, say $50 plus shipping.

Do some searches on this board and see if the cam will work for you.

    good luck!
