cam bearing?head shaving?

    help here.got my block back from the shop today.the guy slid the cam in and said im good to go clearance wise.i was wondering the front bearing has 2 oil holes and the rest have one i beleive is this correct.also how much can i cut my heads without intake problems?

    Stock cam bearings that is correct..the front one has two holes in it for the oil to get around to the drivers side lifters. TA back grooved bearings work well too, are better if you are going crazy with camshaft and springs.

    I wouldn't take too much off the heads, whatever is needed for cleanup....I got away with .020 on a set and nothing else needed cutting but that was with composite intake gaskets, which require you to make up a valley pan. If you are using the steel intake gaskets (stock), then I would take off bare minimum to clean heads up. test fit before final install.
