I think the previous owner of my car flipped calipers- does the hose hook to the top or the bottom of the caliper on a 71? I don't have my manual on me..and its driving me nuts...

I'll take you up on that depending upon the outcome this next weekend. I have a date with my Buicks brakes. I just replaced the master/booster & wheel cylinders. I got them bled, and I have brakes, but not like I thing I should, so I'm gonna 'brake' it all back down and see if I have any problems, and I'm going to the combination valve first....the brakes haven't been serviced in 20 years, so I'm sure I'm gonna find some interesting things....
