I bought this car from Pete Nichols about 6 years ago. I call it the "no hunting car", but its now the Killer Tomato. I have raced it regularly for 5 years in both Pro and Super Pro. It does have a removable delay box for non-gizmo classes. After purchase, it got all new lexan, Strange disks X4, moly tubular A arms, new fuel pump, regulator, filters, etc. New MSD 6 and cleaned up wiring. New third member N case, axel bearings, ring and pinion, bearing, etc. 4;11 gears. I broke my last Buick 2 years ago and had an opportunity to get a Chevy Crate 572, that was "holed" from a broken rod. A kid blew it up doing a burnout contest at a party! Well, I got a decent buy on it, and bought all new Chevy parts as needed. Complete freshenup..from professional Chevy builder. We upgraded the hydrolic roller lifters and valve springs. It dyno'd 660 when complete, last spring. I will sell all the stuff I have to put a Buick back in, which is not much. Here's the deal. This car is a proven winner multiple times. I win my share of races and have earned my way to the Division 5 finals in Topeka the last three years. I trailered it to AZ this January to run local races. (I live in MN) I am leading the Pro class with the ADRA. (AZ drag racing association) and we have a race this weekend. I will be there in Tucson. I prefer to sell this car in AZ, so I can haul a clean desert car back to MN. I will be 63 very soon, and it's gotten difficult to maintain and run a low 10 second car. I keep racing, but plan to build a "sportsman" class car. (foot brake and 12 seconds and up) This is a smoking deal at $14,500. The 572 engine is worth 10K easy and its got about 150 passes. I shift at 5,800 and run the traps at 6,100. Car will run 10.00's in good air. I will include an extra, fresh third member with 4:30 gears that I have at home and lots of small stuff like filters, wires, gaskets, etc. 950 Quick Fuel, Lemon's "over the rail" headers ($1,100) and more. Worst case, is I deliver it on my way back to MN. I leave AZ the first week of April. I would also sell my all aluminum enclosed trailer that's 5 or 6 years old. Car and parts: $14,500. With trailer: $21,000. Please call or email. jimpflepsen@gmail.com or 320-492-eighteen eighty. JW has seen this car in my shop. It's a race car...not a show car. I can text or email pictures that I will take at the race track this weekend. JP

Oh...I have talked to both Jan in Denmark and Dave Johnson about this car. I'm not sure how the rules work on here...but I must say they are both hereby "in line" after conversations today. Notwithstanding that statement, I will follow whatever rules apply on Jim's board. This equipment is ready to run, needs nothing except fuel. BBC is 9.5 to 1. I run 50-50 blend of pump premium and 100 race gas. Lastly, if there is a buyer near MN, I would consider selling as a roller with no engine, tranny, headers.

I have an agreed deal with Eric, and two backups. I've gotta get the car back to MN first, but sure seems sold at this point. Until further notice, "sold". Thx.
Oh...I will be selling the 572 Chevy and T-400 at a very fair price. Any interest, let me know. JP
