George, No they are not the same. The 70 buick units have 3 nipples, while the 71-72 units only have a pair. Duane

John, I do not know if they are the same as in a 70 Cutlass, and do not have any pics, I sold my 70 Calif GSX a long time ago. From what I remember they look like the 71-72 buick units, but the top has 3 nipples instead of 2, with the center nipple capped off. They also have a silver decal on them with the part number and date code printed on it. Can't help more then that. Duane
Here is a picture of one. It was removed from a basically untouched car (thanks Mr. Big) but there was no decal on it. Was it a paper style decal that would deteriorate then maybe fall off?

Charcoal Canister I saw the one posted but it was too late...gone in a flash. The one in my car looks like something hit it and took a chunk out of it. If you know of any other applications please post them. By the way the picture is identical to mine.
