You might want to try an auto electric place. You can try Larry at L&L auto electric in Ronkonkoma

Steve I am sure you know but just in case. The color of the alternator fan pulley was galvanized. No gold cad stuff was used like you sometimes see.

The fan pulley and nut were plated "Silver Zinc" like new silver bolts. The fan was stamped from a sheet of galvanized steel like duct work. The brake booster was Yellow zinc or Cad.

Boosters were Zinc-Dichromate per factory letter from GM to Booster Dewey
    and Booster Steve.

For Actual cadmium its hard to find someone, let alone for small jobs.

Many companies around here no longer cad plate because of EPA regs etc.

For yellow and silver zinc chromate in the northeast, you can try Bass Plating in bloomfield CT. Ask for Rocky. They will do small lots.

I have also heard Pape electroplating takes buckets of steel parts. New Britain ct.

I have used Keystone a lot, but I will no longer have any silver Cad done there. The last 2 batches I had done were terrible. I had to have them redone elsewhere. The rest of their work is good.

Yes you are correct. They do not use Cyanide. Must not be legal anymore. Cyanide makes it look clean and bright
