I know this was posted but I can't find it. There is a Chevelle site that has a set of boxed control arms (factory type) and rear sway bar combo for under $200. Who knows this site?
Factory boxed arms Dan , I do have a original set of boxed arms put away that do need to be rebushed and blasted . Pm me if your interested in an original Buick pair . p :TU:
Thanks Mike, those are the ones I recall seeing. Probably wishful thinkin' that they were about 2 bills.
Yeah - but that's a nice kit with everything you need ready to bolt in! Great site Mike - Thanks! They even have the overflow clip everyone was looking for.... - Bill

Hey Bill- I went there personally last week- no more clip! GM discontinued it and they are out. :ball: They are a very good place to deal with, on a positive note. I bought the kit you are seeking from them and, although I have yet to install it, the quality seems top notch!
Why don't you just buy the inserts from OPG or Classic industries ( I think ) they cost about $18.00 a pair and weld them into your origianl bars thats all the factory did !!!! I have done this about 15 times and NO DIFFERANCE FROM STOCK cost a lot less as well and you can go to any GM dealer and buy a BRAND NEW rear bar for less than $100.00 just ask for a 1970 Chevelle rear bar they will look one of those up for you hehehehe :Brow: Ken
been there,done that! i just did this.opgi part #rca1001,for the inserts$29.95.get a chevelle sway bar from gmpartsdirect.com,less than $85 shipped.mounting bolts & shims from opgi #kr2075 $15.95. :TU: ,opgi bushings #mc12219 $8.45 each.weld the kit in & your under 2 bills
I have a set of factory arms I'm selling already fitted with poly bushings and boxed. Asking $100 plus the shipping.
Oh well - at least they had a picture of the radiator clip....does anyone think this is a good repro canidate? Looks like it has applications across all GM! :TU: - Bill
Thanks for all the info guys. I think I am going to just buy the inserts from NPD (they are local here in Ocala, FL) and weld them in. They also have an aftermarket sway bar with shims and hardware for $109 and I can save the shipping... but have to pay Jeb (the other Bush) 6.5% sales tax... Thanks again for the info
