Urgent need for a front passenger side bumper bracket, portion that attaches to frame. If anyone has one can they overnite as well??? BDK
Different years,different brackets.70 is way different then 71-72 and 68-69 are also different.Bruno.

Just wanted you all to know why I need the bracket so quickly and desperately. My youngest son and I are restoring a 70 GS455 and have been for about 2 years now. It is coming back from paint this week (early). As he happens to be off for spring break we were planning on finishing all the inside and some other component installs. I took off from Wed. to Friday to work with him on it as well. During the paint process the front passenger side bumper bracket was damaged (don't ask......). So I am attempting to get one prior to the car coming back home so we can finish the bumper installs..... Sorry for the long story but just wanting everyone to know why I have a bit of urgency on this one... Bruce
Hi Bruce,can you put a picture of that bracke that you need on V8?I might have something,don't know for sure.I sold almost of the 70 brackets,most all of the ones I have left are for 71-72,but there might be one there.Bruno.
I may have one, too. I will look today. I will ask - how did the bracket get bent at a body shop? Can it be straightened?
That's the picture Matt........It was bent as they are were trying to align the front. The car had had a slight impact in the past. I have not seen it as yet but they tell me it is not salvageable.... Bruce
......It was bent as they are were trying to align the front That's scary - you are right. I shouldn't have asked. We straighten frames all the time, but, never use a good bracket as a pulling tool.
I may have one, do you still have the old one? It should have a part number stamped on it. If you let me know the number I can check mine to see if it matches.
