I was putting the tarp on the car the other day, when this jeep comes backing up and stops right next to me and the car. The passenger hangs his head out and says, that used to be my car. I had bought it from a transmission shop, who had it handed in for some work to be done to it. This was the guy who had handed it in, but never picked it up. He claimed he had bought it at an auction for 100$. The car had had a big dent on the panel behind the passenger door, which he ahd fixed. I now saw this, since the paint was slightly different. He had then handed it in to the shop, who had done a bunch of stuff to it, and the cost was 2000$. He thought it was too much so he'd walked away from it. Then I bought it for 2000$ from the shop, which was what they wanted for it, to clear their work costs the'd put in to it. Well, I'm a happy owner and it was just fun to get some more background to the car. A few weeks ago, I saw this burgundy 73 drive by, it had an older man driving it, and it had a for sale sign on it. I just saw it throuh the car, mounted on the other side. I would have loved to see what he would have wanted for it, but maybe there'll be another time. Kimson
