I need some help finding a build sheet also. I have looked in the drivers seat, passenger seat, rear seat, under carpet, in window pillars, on gas tank, in both doors, and in both kick panels. I found pieces of one on the gas tank and that was it. My car is a 1971 Buick GS 455, manual trans, from Fremont, CA.
    Thank You
    Chris

chris, welcome to v8buick ! this is the place to get all the info you need. the more i learn, the more i find out that the build sheet might be just about anywhere inside the car. pkg shelf, inside the door, roof pillars, dash, seats, upholstery, under carpet. the list goes on, it can drive ya crazy fer sure. these guys will have plenty of good advice on where to look. sometimes they just arent to be found though.

Thank you for the info. My 71 has matching numbers, but everything I have read says that sloan and other places just don't have the info on the 71 cars. It looks like the only way to find out what was originally on my car is to find a build sheet or go without.
