Now that my my tag is decoded, I think today I'm going to hunt down the illusive build sheet. I know from experience that they can be on top of the gas tank or behind the driver's side kick panel. Where else have people found them?

Mine on top of the gas tank was unreadable. The other one I found was up in the dash, rolled into the A-pillar when I had the glove box out.

Mine was stuffed in along side the gauge cluster on the drivers side .

Different assembly plants seemed to commonly stick them in different locations.

Most of the A body vehicles I have parted out over the years the build sheet was commonly found on top of the gas tank for cars built at the Fremont plant. I have alfound a couple under thr rear seat cushions pressed into the springs

Good luck. Finding a build sheet in a ‘67 is very, very unusual.

Yes . My GSX had the one stuffed along side the gauge cluster on the drivers side . And the other was under the rear seat cushion . It was a Flint built car .

Max Damage I'm working on it!

As Al said above, My Fremont built '68 had it in the bottom rear seat. Good luck!

So far I've only seen three different types of sheets in a '67. I've posted two of those below. I'll dig up an example of the third and update this post.

    Found inside a 44607 (GS400 sedan):

Here is a "Soft Trim Broadcast" that Grandpas67 found while restoring the bucket seats in his '67. Here is the thread: 1967 GS400 bucket seat teardown finds... | V8buick.com ) :

That style “Soft Trim Broadcast” sheet is what I usually see from only the Fremont built cars.

The ones from Flint are different.

For the first sheet pictured, you find the same style sheet on the Oldsmobiles.
