Checking the oil on my 74 Apollo and noticed a sheet of paper between the inner fender and the fender itself, just behind the cowl. pulled at it a bit and with some careful reaching came out with a 99 percent complete fully legible build sheet. Had a bit of overspray from the undercoating and one small piece was missing from where it seemed to be glued to the inside of the fender. Neat to see the options and their codes. Shipping from Kansas City MD. to Oshawa Ont. was $39.00 I have all the paper work for this car, I bought it as a one owner 12,000 mile completely original 2 years ago, so this find verfies everything. Kinda made my day! Ben. :)

Can you post the info from your data plate? It's located underhood and will have stuff like BDY, PNT, TRIM and such stamped on it. Post it's info, if you would.

This is what you should look for:

In the case of this Body Number Plate it says 12A on the bottom line of the actual codes.
That's the month and week this car was built in:

    ST 73 = Model year 1973

12 = Twelfth month of the year
A = First week of that month

I'll post it tomorrow. Boattail, I have cousins near Utrecht in Holland, used to drive Buick Century, 73 Mach one and a Caprice. That was 10 or more years ago, they operate a large repair garage now. Ben.

It is a 2 dr. coupe, nutmeg metallic, neutral int. with brown carpet/dash cover and tan/brown weave pattern on the seats. From the appraisal I have (needed for classic car insurance) the colour code is 59, build date of 4th week in March 1974, sold april 30, 1974. Ben.
