Guys that is funny, I thought the same thing. They just slam them in there. I always have to fight and twist and swear. There is a whole series of them on there as well. If you watch them closely you can catch all kinds of plating colors and such. There is a shot of the front sway bar that is obviously gray. I always thought it should be black. I know Pontiac may have been different on some things but bars carried same part numbers GM wide. Also check out the very flat firewall and shiny air cleaners in some of the films.
I like seeing the old Firebirds. (70s) In the day I wasn't a big fan because they were on every corner. Now days you don't even see them much at car shows.
