On my 68 in sig, the BS was under the bench seat under springs on driver side.

I found two build sheets for my Wilmington built '68 GS. One was in the back seat springs and the other was in the passenger side bucket seat back.

Ok I looked in the back seat took off that foam stuff got to the springs and all I found was a small torn up piece of paper does this look like it could have been part of the sheet?

That doesn't look like part of the build sheet. The build sheet will be 'computer/typwriter' generated.

The interior sheet you found was handwritten by a Fisher Body employee while the interior was being assembled in your car. It lists some basic options of the car.

Keep looking, but don't get your hope up.

Some cars (like mine) had no build sheet, and other cars that did get a build sheet sometimes contained a different VIN on the sheet :Do No:

Buick was not very diligent with paperwork :(

I just found the one in our 70 Skylark from the KC plant.
It was actually inside the back rest of the front bench seat, hog ringed to the springs.
Wouldn't have found it except for recovering the seats.

    You've got it Duane.
It will go out in the mail tomorrow.

I have the tank sheet for my convertible, if you'd like that as well.
It's a Flint car, so you may not need it.
We haven't found any of the other paperwork yet, except for a interior trim card. That was kind of neat, as it showed the bucket seat was destined for a GSX.

    Later,

    Jeff,
I will take copies of any 64-72 Skylark/GS that you have. If the copy comes out light, make 2 copies. Leave 1 alone and ink in the codes on the other one. I will decode the 70 Sheet and send a copy back to you. I don't have many of these for convertibles. Thanks.
