Nice to see all those Buicks way down under. Been to NZ, Didn't see any Buicks, BUT the people were just SUPER. Wife and I went there for a week on our honey moon. Did a week in Australia and another in Tahiti. People were great in AU, But we toured NZ in a camper, Had some issues, but the people reached out and went way above to help us. Lots of great memories, especially the Glow Worm Caves.
There were about 250 cars at that show. The biggest one in the South Island can get double that. There is a lot of American street furniture Down Under, but most of it only appears at such shows. (I like your log-in name, Manny, it could be mine - because I have a '68 and i live in Rosebud, Victoria ;-) ) Glad you enjoyed NZ, Fred. I'm a long-term expat very happy in Australia (better weather), but I do love going home to catch up with friends old and new. NZ has changed a lot in recent decades, but yes, it's still a great place with lovely people.
