Buick Skylark trailer hitch specs

Hello everybody,
I hope that's the right place for the question.
I'm looking for information on trailer loads or trailer hitches for Bucik Skylark 1971. So that I can mount a trailer hitch in Germany, I need to specify whether there was a trailer hitch in 1971 as an accessory and how high the trailer load was.
Maybe someone knows where I can read something, maybe in a brochure or catalog.

Is it a Buick factory trailer hitch or is it aftermarket?

 

I have a hitch that would fit 70 - 72 . But shipping would be a killer .

 

Attach are the Buick factory part number for models taken from the Buick 1971 Parts Books.:

 

981677 = 1971 Buick part number for an A body

You will need to consult some factory literature for the load rating. Maybe another member can help you with that information.

 

IIRC, Buick published a towing guide or some such literature specifically for the '71's.

I was some days off and these informations will help a lot!
It is not a GM / Buick trailer hitch, It is not possible to find parts for Buicks over here in Germany.
A friend had a trailer hitch from a Pick up and I modified it so that it fits on my Buick.
