Oh, man. Stay far away from these things ...

You are looking at a prime example of why the domestic auto manufacturers drove customers away. It's still running?!

assuming the rust hasn't eaten it up, buy it and throw a 455 in it. :TU:

I agree stay away. I knew someone that had one. She wanted to unload it. I bought it for $50 about 15 years ago. She said it needed a battery so seemed simple. It actually also needed a engine. Oil was shooting out of the dipstick tube!!!!!!!!! It went to the great car crusher in the sky. The car wasn't in bad shape and nor was she at 20 year old that's why I helped her out.:Brow:

Probably more to the issue with this car for $375.

I wrote the guy and asked about a $175 price and he immediately agreed. Seemed like almost too quick. But for $175, can't be that?

Oh you can beat it. Hold onto your $175. Scrap is low right now. Near Chicago only $50 a ton. The odds are it's scrap. How many of those have you seen on the road in the last 10 years. The odds are salvage yards crushed most of those cars so parts may be tough to find if you want to find used stuff. Near Chicago only $50 a ton. So it may only be worth $50. Boy do I hate to see anyone throw money down the toliet.

I have one of those and never really had any issues with it. Great little car. But ugly as hell. I got another DD so it's sitting in my drive way right now. Planing on donating it.
