Hello all, I am new here and wanted to say hi. I am just finishing up the details on my 1978 Trans Am. 462 Buick powered that is, 560hp 565 lb/ft. :bglasses: Its gonna be hard to keep my foot off of the gas pedal so my TA friends can keep up. lol I also have an 86 turbo-T. I will post a couple of pics when there both ready.
We landed that big bad BBB today soon as the wiring is done it goes to Janis transmission in Akron Ohio, for a 200r4 trans install :Brow: can you say easy 11's with 20 mpg. :3gears:
Well Its finally running, and here are some photos. It still needs a few things but all will be done by spring.
Great lookig machine. I bought a 455 pulled from about the same vintage TA that had been run on the strip a long time ago. Great combo.
Man when i pulled it out of Janis transmission to get it on the trailer to go home, i noticed this thing has instant throttle response, i mean just a tickle of the throttle and :3gears: gonna be fun tryin to hook this beast up on the street. Gonna be some badass Buicks cruisin the streets of Ohio this summer.
Thanks I read something once before saying that they where the same, I quess that is why I like to double check every thing lol
