Ok guys, I'm considering joining the BPG because I noticed a post about it I finally went and checked out the sight. WOW, there are certainly a lot of members. Very COOL! So I also noticed a thread about TA performance and it looked like members get a discount? I looked on the sight, but perhaps I missed that. Can you tell me what kind of benefits come with joining? The newsletter looks great!

    thanks

    Bob

10% at Year One and on some designated items at TA. This alone will pay for the membership if like the rest of us you are buying parts.

Unless I am missing something the BPG icon on the TA wbsite is locked out at least for me. I can see the icon but it activates nothing.

  10. Really? It always works fine for me. Does the "Click Here" lettering turn blue when you place your cursor on it?

Already blue and does not activate for me. Is there something about being in their data base or does it work for everybody?

  12. I don't know Jim, for me, it is kind of greyed/browned out, until I place my cursor on it, then it turns blue. Seems really weird that it won't work for you. Do you get to that page when you go to it directly with the link I posted?

    Jim,

They have no "controls" on that... no way to see if an internet user is a BPG member or not, since your annoymous when you view the TA site.

I would suggest it has something to do with your computer.

a knee operation huh? That stinks. I had both my knee done 6 or 7 years ago. The cartiledge was a little chewed up. They have been pretty good since.. knock on wood! I had Dr. Vildozola in Manchester. He is terrific. I hope you are feeling ok, I know how it is. Oh, by the way.. if you are using regular crutches and your armpits are killing you i have some Canadian crutches... like the woman from the show ER.. that your weight is on your wrist and it wraps around your forearm. If you want to use them, just let me know and I'll bring them to you. MAN what a difference those made for me!!!!

I am hobbling around with a cane but don't always need it. Luckily I didn't need to use crutches, but I do know about that armpit thing! Brian
