Howdy, We know Buick raced very competatively in the early 80's in NASCAR with the more aerodynamic 81 Regal till the others caught up later but what about earlier? I've seen pictures of what was supposidly a Kenne-Bell '65 Riviera NASCAR vehicle but I've also seen it listed as another type of racing. Upon reading the most recent Hot Rod Magazine and other more recent ones the NASCAR and SCCA what if's and tributes are going strong. I couldn't really find anything of any value in a search of NASCAR and Buick so I decided to ask directly. For some reason a '67 LeSabre is coming to mind as pre Aero wars but it would be under the 7.0L displacement restriction. Think they would have raced LeSabres or Wildcats? Thanks,

Most likely I was at the race as my grandfather carried me every Friday night to the press box. http://www.uthd.com/raleigh-speedway.html
