I've always loved big Buicks. Finally retired and got a one owner 64 Wildcat, 425, in great original shape. Riviera wheels. Black buckets, new carpet and headliner. Interior is almost perfect. Exterior paint needed 1200 grit wet sanding then rubbing compound, then paste wax, Now, after weeks of "feels good" work, my car shines a deep rich red with white vinyl top. It's all there.

BUT! The rear bumper is dented beyond repair and rust weevils attacked the bumper from exhaust gasses. Question, what other model/year is interchangeable with mine? My tinted windshield also needs replacing. Anybody have good pricing on a complete front end rebuild; springs, ball joints tie rods, steering etc? I like to drive the car but it wallows and sways and wanders too much. Rebuild the carburetor or dump it? I don't know which one came on the 425 but it needs help. How much ballpark to rebuild the motor? Transmission? Your help and comments will be appreciated.
