My wife and I have just arrived (and mostly time adjusted?) to being halfway across the world for a few days. We are downtown for a couple days and then will be in Ringwood area until late Thursday, the 14th. I plan to play golf when in Ringwood but haven't firmed up any other plans.

Any V8 Australia folks in and around Melbourne? Any cool car events around while we are here? (It's kind of early in the spring for that?)

I'm in Melbourne.... on the Mornington Peninsula about 50 miles south of downtown. Do you have wheels while you are here? Ringwood is a pretty much straight drive up the freeway from the Peninsula....I'm free mornings Mon-Thurs next week..... sadly working some of this weekend but could catch up Saturday (tomorrow) afternoon too. Send me an SMS on 0415711967. ;-)

Darn shame you are not here next weekend 16th/17th. There's the Aussie version of NASCAR having a rare Melbourne raceday not far from Ringwood, I've got a ticket for the Sunday, there's a muscle car display too .... unlike this weekend that next weekend is gonna be warm and sunny, 20,000 expected. Otherwise I'm thinking there's no big car shows while you are here but I am checking

I don't have wheels but planned on doing a Turo rental to go do the golf thing. Ringwood to St Andrew's Beach course is $140 each way via Uber. Turo sounds more economical? Sounds like that's in your neck of the woods?

Today we knocked out quite a few tourist things. Victorian Market, South gates promenad, river cruise up the river, St Paul's cathedral, walked up to the Gaol but got there at 4:30 and they close at 5:00. 14,000 steps after sitting on a plane for 15 hours two days ago. We are back at the hotel and likely hitting up an Italian place for food tonight. Foggia di fico is its name.

Doing the 13 hour 12 apostles tour tomorrow (Saturday)

Worth your time to get down here if one gets a chance.

My wife at Rod Laver arena. She's from a tennis playing family so this is big to her.

Great to meet you Marc, thanks for stopping by. Love to see your awesome looking car in the flesh one day.

Hope your golf game was on point and that you enjoy this week's outstanding spring weather.

Holler ahead next time and we can plan your good lady's career moves around some Aussie car shows! :D
They get real big around here in a month or two.

    Safe travels mate.
