Buick Crate Engines

    Hey Everyone...... I've got a 69 lark with a 350. Oil pump is starting to go and since I'm going to have to yank it anyway....I figured time for a crate engine so I can rebuild the stock engine slowly. Besides, I'm sick of 13.80's........ Need som advice on where to go for Buick Crate Engines. I'd love to go big block, but, a built 350 with some horsepower would be ok too. Anyway.... I want a good engine, but, don't want to get bent over too bad if you know what I mean. I love to cruise and occasionally will hit the track for some bracket racking. High 12's would be fine so it's not like I need 800 hP or something. Any suggestions???

    I'll bet you could get a good running Big Block Buick out of the paper or in the parts for sale section of this board that would be an easy conversion while you build your small block..good luck:TU:

    just slide over to the small side and see what jim burek has done to a 350. WOW!!!!

    Thanks guys... I got a reply from Jim already. When I'm completely ready I will be definitely looking to him to help me out.
