It's a 58 large series, you cut off the backend but thinking Roadmaster

    Right, definitely a big '58.
You can just see the tip of big chrome spear on the rear fender. That shows it is NOT a Limited.
That leaves it to be a Super or Roadmaster.

If it's not a roadmaster then it's either super riviera or special riviera.

No drip rail molding or wheel opening molding = Super

That's about right, James. These cars really aren't that much heavier than an early 70's big car. They just look huge. There is a lot of space under that sheet metal.

Now, I know how to differentiate, other than reading the badging

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

I think that's the very rare, 2 of 1, 1958 Buick Twin Hull Harbormaster BAB!

Now I can say I have seen one (evein in a pic) and die fulfilled.

    Thanks fellas. I was wondering.
What a beautiful car though. Incredible to think she's still going 60 years after she rolled out the factory door.
Says a lot about the engineering

    Anyone on here UK based?
Maybe you could recommend some good classic car shows to go to this summer.
Looking forward to spotting a few more Buicks sooner rather than later.
