man i got the buick blues, seem to be paceing through ebay, here, cars-on-line, and all others, wishing i had some money, or before that a JOB, man what's the deal, i must filled out the hole county of lancaster for jobs, have interviews then tell them im very interested in the job, call 3 times after interview, its like no go, no-body wants to hire, going through a life crisis, can't figure out if i should go back to school or not, i have a high school diploma, obviously that's not enough, just don't see why things are getting tougher and tougher, what's going on in the world these days, hard to get anything done on my car cause i have no money coming in, its just getting frustrating anymore, being on probation isn't helping either, can't pay my fines, there gonna throw me in jail or something, i don't know...........what do you guys think:confused:

We all seem to hit a wall now and then in life. I know where your coming from, since I am in a bit of a similer situation financially thanks to a rather nasty work injury.

I believe when one door shuts, another one opens. Just stay positive, stay focused and things will turn around for you. I think if you can do it, going back to school would be a great idea.

    Josh, you're screwed....but don't worry....

    You're not alone.
    We've all been there.
It won't be this way forever.
Keep plugging away at it, something good will happen for you, and when it does, it won't be a moment too soon. These things are life teaching you how to appreciate things when they are good. As far as court, fines, and jail, alow me to let you in on a secret.......they won't throw you in jail as long as you show up for court. Go to them before they come for you. Tell the judge, you are broke and struggling, you can make a list of all the places you've gone to find workand show it to the judge, make one of them the unemployment office, not that it ever does any good but, it looks good on paper to a judge when you're graveling. You can make payments of 10 per month for 6 months then back up to whatever when you get a job and life is rosie again. If you get the courts off your back a little, you may find a clearer head for job hunting. days, weeks, months from now, none of this will matter.

    Believe me.....it works.

Josh, I agree with all the above posts. I just want to add this.....Whatever you do, don't miss ANY appointments with that probation officer......that's the most important thing here. If you do, call him IMMEDIATELY and explain why and offer to come in ASAP. Those guys want to see a responsible person who is making positive changes in his life and they will stick up for you if you can win his respect. You need him to tell the judge you are bettering yourself, and most important of all, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE! Even if it means walking away from a fight and looking like a woos. These guys don't mess around.

I don't know what you did, but I have been there, it isn't always fair. It doesn't mean you are a bad person, it is your opportunity to prove to the system that they were wrong about you. We all make mistakes, stupid mistakes with severe consequences.

Good luck with that, and keep the faith. New doors WILL open for you you'll see.:)

Just cause you're on probation doesn't mean you have a probation officer. But, if you do have one, do exactly what Pat said. Make that guy your best friend. Kiss his arse if you have to. In the end if you avoid more problems it will be you who had the power all along. I was ground into that machinery as a teen and it dind't go away until my mid twenties. Once you're in it's tough to get out, especialy when you're having problems everywhere in you're life.

The job market is extremely bad right now. I pity anybody who who is seeking employment these days. I started my own business a long time ago, best move I ever made. That was one of the doors that opened for me, perhaps that's what the man upstairs wants you to do, Josh. You have to be 110% dedicated or else it won't work.

Sometimes we have to suffer intensely in order to realize what we really want to do. For everything bad that happens to us, something good usually follows in order keep things balanced.

When things are this bad, just look up.......brighter horizons are just around the corner. It will all be worth it in the end, you'll see.:bglasses:

Hi Josh, been there, done that! I know it sucks but the law is sending you a message. It's up to you if you want to listen or not. If you get it, and communicate that you get it things WILL get better. Keep a positive attitude and you will get through it. As for the job market, it sucks in many areas, but in others it's great. Step outside your normal course of action..look in arenas you never thought of and go out and sell the best product you know of......YOU, sell yourself like there's no tomorrow. I hire guys all the time that just belive in theirself. You'll find someone out there that will hire you. Good luck!:TU:

Take it from a guy who 8 years ago was sleeping on his friends floor, had no job, no car and was on probation for something I didn't even do. DETERMINATION AND HARD WORK will pay off. Don't give up on looking to better yourself, good things will happen for you. 8 years later I have a great job making great money, wife kid and three cars, One being a 72 GS clone, and I never graduated High school. I wish you good luck and hope better days are around the corner for you.
