Although a "junior member" (since may 2003) not really "wet behind the ears" .... My first Buick (after several other US-cars) was a '75 Riviera back in 1984. A daily driver at the time and without any problems I drove this car for two winters. I know some of you will understand when I say, "I fell in love with that car" But due to wife and kid I had to sell this drive. For 18 long years I had nightmares ('bout selling the car) and sweet dreams ('bout having another one). Eight months back I found another 75 Riv for sale on the internet here in The Netherlands.... without any hesitation I bought the car..... and no regrets!!! This winter a repaint and back on the road in March. I'm aware that many of you dislike this model (75-76), but still I hope to find some more '75 and '76 enthusiasts here on V8Buick (didn't find them yet ) with a daily visit here, cheers, Robert

Robert, Your car looks great! I really like the 1975 Buicks. The best car I ever had (and I still have it) is a 1975 Electra. I think it is even less popular than the 1975 Riviera but what a nice car to drive! I also prefer the 75's interior and dashboard to the 1974. I know that most people won't agree with me but that's a matter of taste!

If its got RIVIERA on it, I love it!! We've got em from 63 all the way up to 97. As I recall, many did not like the 70 when it arrived. Boat-tails were met with mixed reviews. 66 through 69 were said to be too heavy, so it is all a matter of opinion.

Got me beat!! I personally only have a 70 and a 71 Skylark GS. My father and brother have the others mainly in the 60's. One day I may afford the cars I want, but for now, I wait from paycheck to paycheck!!!!
