Interesting thread over there. Everyone has an opinion I guess. Personally I like anything Buick powered :TU: My dream car would be a big old TA Buick in about 225" of steel tubing!

Cool ride! That thread was from 2008, how did it turn out? I'm pretty new to the Buick scene, I could never understand why Buick guys seem to only want to race other Buicks. Our Chicagoland club allows Buick powered and or bodied. If someone want to put a chevy in it fine, bring it out and race it! :beers2:

It's a 464 with 12.2 comp, custom Straightline (Scott Brown) cam, TA Stage 1 alum street elim heads, Wildcat intake (of course!), 1050 Dominator, T400, 3.50 gear 9 in Ford rear, ladder bar rear suspension, stock front suspension, Dynomax mufflers.....original leather seats and power windows.

4 years and a couple hundred passes on the motor.......

Bruce I love that car there are a couple cars out there that if for sale I would have to really think hard about buying and that is one of them. that would be on the street in Michigan so fast it would make your hear turn and my pocket fill with cash for a little street action:beers2:

Especially with an iron intake and a killer Q-jet.....with the stock FLAT hood!:beers2:

I was thinking of getting tags for it but isn't it bad to drive a ladderbar car on the street?

In my opinion, that car is an ENGINEERING MARVEL.:beers2:

    Good morning:).

I disagree with your stating that Buick guys ONLY want to race other BUICKS.

Almost every Buick-Guy I ran into ... have targeted THE MOPAR HEMIS, FORDS, CHEBBYS, AND ... the nonIMPORTant guys. I have found that Buick-Guys respect other BUICKS ... like a BUICK-FAMILY.:)

    Hey, maybe I am wrong.:)

Me personally, I would only WANT to race another BUICK for fun (not caring who won), and to see how hard a BUICK done correctly (my '73 Buick 455 was done on a budget ... still waiting for it from D&S) can run.

    SO-FAR-SO-GOOD.:beer
