Hi there. Curious. Would you tell me 'IF' the return spring, on the throw out bearing pivot shaft is complete, not broken or split and works as it should? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
FWIW: The Bell-H on 64-66 "A" body GS's is a full bell and not a half bell with a stamped steel gravel shield like yours... so, I did some research and what I found was your bellhousing number shows up as application for: 63 LeSabre, Invicta wagon, and Wildcat 4-speeds 64 Wildcat and wagon 4-speeds 65 Wildcat 4-speeds That bellhousing also may be used on the 63/64/65 LeSabre 3-speeds, but I don't have one of those cars in front of me so I won't swear to it. I am sure it is the same for the 63 3-speeds, they had 401s, but the 64 LeSabres only had the small motors, and the part has a completely different number. I think WILDBILL or ?? was selling the pedals and 'z' bar & some linkages for a wildcat.. they should be interested in this Bell-H to complete their package deal... Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Thanks for the info. This bell housing was on 1966 401 with a Muncie M20 1965 four speed attached. I do have the 401. The muncie m20 looks like it was rebuilt. I'm having the flywheel cleaned and measured to insure that it is in spec for resurfacing. thanks again!
Working on a deal with Wildcat GS. If you are intersted in the items then submit a post that you are the next in line if Wildcat GS does not take the deal. Thanks!
It does not have the ford trans bolt pattern cast and tapped for the 65 66 dearborn that bop was using with the musclecars, Should have two sets of mounting holes. must be before 65 -Glenn
