    I don’t know about starters but I’m pretty sure you have to sign for it when parts are delivered. They won’t just leave it at your door.

    Just use a parts store starter for a 96 Lt4 engine,.. lifetime warranty

    Oh wow didn't realize it would be the same bolt patern. Already ordered. They do say on the site description the parts store ones sometimes use plastic gears where the ones they sell don't.

    Generally it's worth getting parts from TA when possible, as they don't sell garbage unlike Rock auto or Orielly's and they actually know our cars.

    My 2c.

    Also, I am going to guess that the 1996 LT4 (corvette) starter that Hugger mentions probably has no R terminal?
