Buick 350 main girdle is now available

I believe the 350's and the 300's take the same oil pan gasket number . I looked that up before when someone was asking about a girdle .

 

I do not have the detailed specs but yes the 300 main bolts are different than the 350... Like Gary says the best bet would be to find a block in his area so there would be no issues.

I've set out my feelers for a 300 block in the Cleveland/Youngstown/Chardon areas.. Hopefully something pops up.

Does the girdle come with a spacer for the oil pickup tube?

This a drive way install part? Or you need a machine shop or full engine removal?

Like any girdle the engine needs to be completely disassembled and taken to a machine shop for installation. gary

Did you talk to Gary Paine and see if he has any left? Last I heard he had one left... I got 2 so I would have a spare as you never know there may never be another run made.

The main problem with this item and any other is "who is going to finance and warehouse the items for people to buy at their leisure?".
Machining hot rod parts isn't a great business when you can keep your spindles turning on contract work.

Yes this is true. I really appreciate the effort that Gary put into this and this is the same reason I am buying 2 or 3 sets of the alum 350 heads once they are released as you never know how long it will be till more are made....

That is good news that Gary still has a girdle in stock!
