I am selling the SBB 350 out of my 65 Special. It is a 73 with a poston gs 110 cam, poston intake, and poston valve covers. Has good oil pressure and doesn't run hot. It smokes a bit, not sure exactly why. The engine is still in my car if you want to hear it run. I plan on pulling it out in 2-3 weeks, as I'm putting in a nice 455. I am asking $400.00 obo. The timing cover is new as is the water pump. This engine has been in my car for about 5k miles. I am located in DeKalb, Illinois, which is about an hour west of Chicago.

    Tom,

How much delivered to my house?

Also did you have to use different frame stands and mounts to get it in your 65? I'm thinking this for my 65 Sportwagon.

I don't have a truck anymore so delivery is kinda tough at the moment. The buyer can have the motor mounts and frame pads used in my 65 Special. The rods have been redone with ARP bolts, the later capscrew type. Brian, give me a call, maybe we can figure something out.

I made the same swap from a 300. If retain the 300 motor mounts and put them on the 350 the engine will bolt right in. If you use the 350 engine mounts the chasis mounts will have to slide up the frame rail. This causes no issues. SO you can do either way.

    Hello:

Please put me in line for the motor. I live in P-field as well.

Has anything been machined? i.e manifold?

Do the water pump and timing cover have 5K on them?

    Points distributor?

I don't need the engine, but I'll volunteer my time and truck to pick it up for someone if they want to ride along and cover gas.

    Tom,

I won't be able to tomorrow (Wed) but maybe Thurs if I can get up your way. If I can't get up there I'm not too worried about listening to it. I remember it from last time. I wills till want it no matter if I hear it or not.

    Thanks,

    brian

SOLD. Thanks again Brian. Thanks to Bill for playing taxi for Brian. Nice BS'ing with you guys. My wife asked what took so long. I told her Brian was here. Sorry Bill, me and Brian can do some talking. Give a holler if either of you need anything.

Glad I could help Brian. I would call us even, you were more than helpful when I was building my 65. Good luck with the swap bud.
