I'm using '64 aluminum 300 heads on my 215 stroker. Can anyone tell me where I can find brackets for mounting alternators, compressors, pumps, etc. to the heads (and block)? I know where I can get custom made parts, but I was wondering what other GM engines shared a similar bolt pattern, and where I can find stock parts? Thanks in advance!!! James J. :Comp:
The brackets on the 300 are the same as on all the later Buick V8's and V6's. Any junkyard should provide quite a few good options. Otherwise, throw an ad in the Parts Wanted or Pay It Forward forums. I'm sure someone will be able to help out.
