Here is a real crazy one.I had racing seats in my GS for years and thought the car handled and rode great.Put the original (but recovered) buckets back in and couldn't figure out why the rear shocks had gone south as well as a general feeling that handling was way off !! Of course all that was happening was me sitting on the equivalent of a bouncing ball. The seats are in great shape, springs and connectors are intact. They are slightly over-stuffed with foam-but no easy way to get it out.
Anyone else have "boing boing" buckets? What did you do to fix them?I tried plastic wire ties on the seat springs without much effect.
    Thanks,

I've got the same problem. With Koni shocks and polyurethane bushings, my driver's bucket seat is definitely the weakest link in the car's suspension ('70 442 in my case). Car handles great, but I'm bouncing like a baby in a jumper. A good tight lap belt helps somewhat.

I guess we could always wedge a block of high-density foam between the seat bottom and the floor .......
    Anyone got any better ideas?
